Vehicle License Renewals

Standing in endless queues to have Vehicle Licenses renewed every year is very frustrating and wastes a lot of man-hours that can be spent more productive elsewhere.

FINE SOLUTIONS attend to vehicle License Renewals of vehicles on behalf of Individuals and Corporate Companies electronically.



License Renewals are done as follows:

1.   By submitting the white License Renewal Reminder sent to the registered Owner of the vehicle by Metro together with payment, or;

2. If the Renewal Notice was not received or is lost, an ALV Form is completed and signed by the Owner and submitted together with a certified copy of the Owner’s Identity Document.

3. Turn-around time is two working days from submission of documents and payment being received.

 

CORPORATE CLIENTS

There is an extra service available for Corporate Clients in that FINE SOLUTIONS keeps a database of the different vehicles of the Client and the Months in which the respective Licenses are due for renewal.

The Client is advised on the monthly basis and three months in advance which vehicles’ Licenses will be due for renewal in which month.

This enables the Client to budget for License Renewal Fees and to have sufficient time to do COF’s where applicable.

FINE SOLUTIONS operate as follows:

RENEWAL NOTICE AVAILABLE

  1. Should the Client be in possession of the License Renewal Notice, a scanned copy is forwarded to Fine Solutions by e-mail.

  2. A Statement is sent to the Client reflecting the Client’s reference number, the amount due for the License renewal and the Renewal Fee.

  3. The Client deposits / transfers the total amount due into the Bank Account of Fine Solutions, particulars of which are on the Statement.

  4. The new License Disk is acquired, scanned and sent to the Client by e-mail and the original either posted to the Client.

 

RENEWAL NOTICE NOT AVAILABLE

  1. If the License Renewal Notice was not received or has been lost, we send an electronic copy of the required ALV Form to the Client for completion and signature and same is then sent to us with a copy of the Owner of the vehicle’s Identity Document.

  2. A Statement is sent to the Client reflecting the Client’s reference number, the estimated amount due for the License renewal and the Renewal Fee.

  3. The Client deposits / transfers the total amount as per the Statement into the Bank Account of Fine Solutions, particulars of which are on the Statement.

  4. The new License Disk is acquired, a final recon of the amount actually paid for the renewal of the License is sent through to the Client together with a scanned copy of the License disc and the original is posted to the Client. The balance in Credit or Debit is resolved at the same time.

FINE SOLUTIONS charges a Renewal Fee of R 100.00 per Renewal in the Central Johannesburg Area
and R 200.00 for renewals in the East Rand and Krugersdorp.

A R 50.00 Fee is charged if the copy of the Owner’s ID has to be certified by FINE SOLUTIONS.
